My name is Cristóbal and I'm a self-trained perfumer.
Gay Juice was inspired by a 2022 reading of "The Faggots & Their Friends Between Revolutions" at a summer picnic in Brooklyn's Prospect Park.
What began as a fanciful pun quickly became an obsession to capture the ephemerality of mid-summer tea dances and the olfactive aura of the 1970s.
After hundreds of iterations and countless hours spent at the perfume bench, I arrived at a blend of Comoros Ylang Ylang, Bourbon Veitver, Pineapple, Patchouli and Mandarin.
My hope as you encounter this juice, whether with a friends, a lover or in the sweet rhapsody of solitude, is that it never ceases to transport you to this, our magic island where it is summer always and the juice flows freely.
